What can I do if I get role ID is invalid error for my enterprise contract?
There can be multiple reason of why you might get the error The role ID is
invalid. (OKC-196067)
when creating a contract. Here are some causes that you
can review to resolve the error.
- The role code for whatever role has been chosen on the Contract Type for
Contract Owner Role isn't defined properly.Verify that Supplier users have the required roles to access the contract pages. For example, on the Enterprise Contracts side, the roles are:
- Supplier Contract Administrator
- Supplier Contract Manager

The user creating the contract isn't a resource.
Define users as resources as follows:- Navigate to the Resource Directory to view all the existing resources within your organization.
- Click Identify Resource and search for and select the user to be marked as Resource.
- Click Add as Resource and sign out and sign back in again to test.
- The user GUID isn't synced to the CRM database.
Run the Synchronize User GUID scheduled process to sync the user GUID of users including Employees, Contingent Workers, and Partner Contacts in the CRM database.
