What's the allowed attachment file type and size for sharing emails?

The allowed attachment file type and size limit when sharing emails or uploading files in the Accounts and Opportunities areas is:

• Images: JPEG, GIF, PICT, PNG, TIFF: 2 MB
• Microsoft files: PPT, DOC, EXCEL: 10MB
• Video: QT, MP4, .XMS: 10 MB
• Audio: M4A, MPEG3, AAC, .WAV: 2 MB

For uploading files from objects such as Account and Opportunity:

• Upload a file: 10 MB
• Upload contact or avatar image: 2MB

Note: If you've a locally-installed Microsoft Outlook application and the Microsoft Edge browser on a Windows computer, you can't use the Microsoft 365 add-in to download the attachments that have been uploaded to Sales records. You can download them from the Sales application.
