Enable Account Business Plans

In the ready-to-use application, the default class of business plans is partner business plans. If your requirement is to only manage partner business plans, then you don't need to make any changes related to the business plan class.

If you manage only account business plans, then you must make only one change related to the business plan Class using Application Composer. Enable the Class field in the UI and in the display sequence field, ensure Account has the smallest sequence number.

If you manage both partner and account business plans, then ensure that both partner and account classes are enabled.

  1. Ensure you're working in an active sandbox.

  2. Click Navigator > Configuration > Application Composer.

  3. In the Objects navigation tree, expand Standard Objects and then expand Business Plan.

  4. Click the Pages node.

  5. Ensure that the Application Pages tab is selected.

  6. Duplicate the Standard Layout for the Landing Page.

  7. Edit the new layout by adding the Account and Class fields on the Landing Page Layout.

  8. In the display sequence field, ensure Account has the smallest sequence number.
  9. Repeat for other pages where you want the field to appear.
  10. Test the changes.

  11. Publish the sandbox according to your company's business practices.
