Enable Objectives on the Business Plans Overview Tab

You can enable salespeople to view and drill into objectives on the overview tab of business plans. Use the profile option ZCA_SHOW_OBJECTIVES_IN_SUBTAB to specify where objectives are displayed. The default value depends on the following:

  • For a new installation, the default value is Y. If the value is set to Y, then objectives are displayed as a subtab on the Edit Business Plan: Summary page.

  • For an existing customer without objectives in the application, the default value is Y.

  • If the value is set to N, then the objectives are displayed on the Edit Business Plan: Summary page.

To enable objectives on the overview tab:

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance area, go to the following:

    • Offering: Sales

    • Functional Area: Sales Foundation

    • Task: Manage Administrator Profile Values

  2. Enter ZCA_SHOW_OBJECTIVES_IN_SUBTAB in the Profile Option Code field.

  3. Click Search.

  4. In the Profile Option: Profile Values region, do one of the following:

    • To display objectives on the overview tab, set the Profile Value to No.

    • To display objectives in a separate side tab, set the Profile Value to Yes.

  5. Click Save and Close.
