Enable Nested Tabs for Territories in Workspace

You can enable dynamic and nested tabs for territories in Workspace. This allows salespeople to easily find territories, as well as view and manage multiple territories at the same time.

Dynamic and nested tabs are hidden by default. When using nested tabs, Next and Previous buttons aren't available in the Edit Territory pages. The Workspace Dynamic and Nested Tabs Enabled (ZCA_ENABLE_WORKSPACE_DYNAMIC_TABS) profile option enables users to display tabs for different types of work items at the same time.

Note: To enable dynamic and nested tabs in Workspace, you must add the Open Objects in Dynamic Tabs (SVC_OPEN_OBJECTS_IN_DTNT_PRIV) privilege to the Sales Administrator or equivalent administrator role.

Here's how to enable the ZCA_ENABLE_WORKSPACE_DYNAMIC_TABS profile option.

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to:

   • Offering: Sales

   • Functional Area: Sales Foundation

   • Task: Manage Administrator Profile Values

2. From the search region of the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, enter the profile option code name ZCA_ENABLE_WORKSPACE_DYNAMIC_TABS in the Profile Option Code field.

3. Click Search.

4. In the list that's returned, click the profile option code link.

5. Select Y in the Profile Value field to enable the dynamic and nested tab feature.

6. Click Save and Close.
