Get Reminded When a Task Is Due

You can configure the application so that salespeople are reminded by email or get an alert in the Notifications area when their tasks are due.

To get the reminders, salespeople simply configure the default reminder period in their user preferences. As an administrator, you can enable or disable the reminder notifications across the site and for individual users. You can specify whether to notify users via email, notifications, or both. You can configure the default reminder profile option to set a default reminder period based on the task due date. For example, you can configure whether to send a notification three days before the task due date or when the task due date is reached.
