Specify Business Unit Set Assignments

If you're partitioning reference data so that different business units (BUs) can use different sets of data, you must assign a default set to each business unit.

You may have already done this when setting up BUs. If that's the case, then you can skip this step. If you do specify set assignments as described here, these settings override the setting in the business units edit page.

Use the following procedure to assign reference data sets to business units.

1. In Setup and Maintenance, go to the following:

   • Offering: Sales

   • Functional Area: Company Profile

   • Task: Manage Business Unit Set Assignment

2. In the Manage Business Unit Set Assignment page, for each reference data object, select the set that you want to assign to the business unit.

3. Click Save and Close.
