Receive Parts

Receive serialized, non-serialized, and lot-controlled items.

You can receive one or multiple part lines from the Receive Parts page.

• Use line-level receiving to review or update details for a single transaction.
• Use bulk receiving when multiple eligible lines can be received together with common values such as subinventory or locator.

After receiving is complete, the search results refresh to show current statuses and remaining receivable quantities.

Receive a Part Line

1. Open the Receive Parts search list.

2. Select the row for the part line you want to receive.

3. From the Actions menu, select Receive. This opens the Receive parts drawer.

4. In the Receive parts drawer, review the fields shown for the item type.

   1. For a non-serialized item, update the receiving quantity.

   2. For a lot-controlled item, enter the quantity or review the lot details.

   3. For a serialized item, review the serial number. The quantity is fixed at one.

5. Review any defaulted values, such as subinventory and quantity.

6. If the item is locator-controlled, enter the required locator information.

7. Select Submit.

8. Verify that the drawer closes and the search results refresh.

Receive Multiple Part Lines

1. Open the Receive Parts search list.

2. Select the rows for the part lines that you want to receive.

3. From the Actions menu, select Receive Selected Lines.

4. In the Receive parts drawer, review the number of selected lines.

5. Enter common values, such as subinventory and locator, where applicable.

6. Review the selected lines before submission.

7. Select Submit.

8. Confirm the result message:

   • After the selected line or lines are successfully received, a Selected lines received confirmation message appears.
   • When receiving multiple lines, if one or more lines can't be received due to validation errors, a Selected lines partially received message appears.

9. Verify that the drawer closes and the search results refresh.
