Create A Credit Balance

You can Create a Credit Balance on a student account, if necessary. For example, a student or parent who has authorized the institution to hold their Credit Balance may request a portion of it.

Overview

You can enter the recipient, date of occurrence, comments, and the Credit Balance amount (per academic year, per fund type, per disbursement). However, you can only enter an amount for payments that have already disbursed and only up to the unapplied amount associated to the payments.

Note: Student Financial Planning will save the Credit Balance amount as a new Credit Balance with a unique Credit Balance ID associated to the Payment ID.
