Create A New Fund Allocation

The institution can Create a Fund Allocation for available fund sources.

Overview

The configured fund allocation may be on an award year or non-award year basis. Only after the fund allocation is created and made ready for disbursement will Student Financial Planning begin to award the fund.

Required Role Permissions

The user must have a role with the following General Permission(s) through Roles Management in order to complete the manual processing steps listed below.

Manual Processing Steps

Log into the Student Financial Planning User Interface (UI)

  1. Navigate to Administration > FAS Management > Fund Allocation Management
  2. Select the Fund Type
  3. Click the New Allocation button
  4. Select Award Year
  5. Enter the Initial Fund Amount
  6. Click Save
  7. Confirm a new allocation schedule for a new award year was created
