Release QC Hold via Event Message

The FASReleaseQCHoldEvent web service initiates the same hold release mechanism as checking the Released check box via the Student Financial Planning User Interface (UI).

Overview

Use this message to remove individual holds or, with an Auto Release query, to release a mass population of holds at once. When using this web service with an Auto Release Query, the application generates one FASReleaseQcHoldEvent message for each QC Hold released.

Required Role Permissions

The user must have a role with the following General Permissions through Roles Management in order to complete the manual processing steps:

  • Administration.
  • System Management.
  • Load Message File.

The user must have the ability to send Event Messages through the Message Processing Gateway. Do this in the UI. See Load Message File.
