Student is Continuously Enrolled

Overview
When a student changes programs, if any condition is not met, the enrollment type updates to Change of Program - Within New Academic Year. Below are the steps to review the student record for the second condition, The student is continuously enrolled.
Required Role Permissions
The user must have a role with the following General Permission(s) through Roles Management in order to complete the manual processing steps listed below.

Manual Processing Steps
Log into the Student Financial Planning User Interface (UI)
- Enter the student's name, external student ID number or social security number
in the search field located in the upper right-hand corner
- Because Student Financial Planning returns results for any data entered, the student search can be based on complete or partial information
- Select the Student Record from the Student Search Results pop-out dialogue box
- Navigate to
- Always choose the first package of the new enrollment because courses and start/end dates may have changed in subsequent packaging versions
- Click the Academic Year Summary table
- Review and take note of the payment period 1, first-course start date
- Navigate to the Prior Enrollment
- Navigate to
- Review and take note of the Official Last Date of Attendance (OLDA)
- Calculate the total number of days between the students OLDA in the prior
program and the first-course start date in the new program and then subtract any
approved LOA days (if applicable)
- If the result of this calculation is greater than the maximum number of
days a student can be Out of Attendance (i.e. 14 days) and still be
considered continuously enrolled, this criterion will be equal to Not
Met
- Student must be continuously enrolled based on the institution's configuration
- The school can configure the maximum number of days a student can be Out of Attendance (i.e. 14 days) and still be considered continuously enrolled
- If the result of this calculation is greater than the maximum number of
days a student can be Out of Attendance (i.e. 14 days) and still be
considered continuously enrolled, this criterion will be equal to Not
Met
