Student was not on LOA During Program Change

Overview
When a student changes programs, if any condition is not met, the enrollment type updates to Change of Program - Within New Academic Year. Below are the steps to review the student record for the first condition, Student was not on LOA during Program Change.
LOA is a configurable pre-condition. If your school has configured this for review, it is the 1st condition evaluated. If it passes the other conditions are evaluated. If it does not pass, none of the other conditions are reviewed.
Required Role Permissions
The user must have a role with the following General Permission(s) through Roles Management in order to complete the manual processing steps listed below.

Manual Processing Steps
Log into the Student Financial Planning User Interface (UI)
- Enter the student's name, external student ID number or social security number
in the search field located in the upper right-hand corner
- Because Student Financial Planning returns results for any data entered, the student search can be based on complete or partial information
- Select the Student Record from the Student Search Results pop-out dialogue box
- Click the Enrollment link in the student header and choose the Original Enrollment (or prior enrollment)
- Navigate to
- Review the LOA(s) End Date(s)
- To meet this condition: the student cannot have an LOA end date that equals the first-course start date on or after the program start date
- If the student has an LOA end date that equals the first-course start date in the new program, the student cannot remain in the same payment period
