Share changes with users, know what to expect after activating single sign-on (SSO) for Oracle Analytics Server (OAS), and fix common sign in issues.

User Communications

Communicate these changes to all users and let them know that from now on, signing in to OAS will use the same credentials as their other business applications.

Post-setup Sign-In Behavior

Once SSO is enabled, using local sign in information will no longer work in OAS. Every sign in goes through your organization’s SSO provider.

Troubleshooting Sign-in Issues

If any user has trouble signing in, check that their email address is exactly the same in both Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity and Access Management and OAS.

Password Policies

Password policies, complexity requirements, and reset processes are governed by your identity and access management or SSO provider, not OAS.
