Copy and Delete Academic Periods

You can copy an academic period and use it as a template to create another period.

From Student Central, click Search and search for Academic Periods. Then select a period and click Copy.

Note: Only fields on the Details tab are copied to the new period record. You need to configure and update the Period Attribute Dates, Ownership, and Period Hierarchy tabs.

You can also delete periods. However, if a period is assigned to course sections you shouldn’t delete it. To delete a period, make the period inactive, save the record, and then click Trash.
