Event Subscribers

The Subscribers page displays all the defined subscribers for events. Information about the subscribers is displayed next to each, including their statuses, last updated dates, and the users who last updated them.

Subscribers are predefined in the application. By default, subscribers are already associated with events. When an event is triggered, the subscribers associated with that event are notified.

To view event subscribers:
  1. On the System Events Page, click Subscribers. The list of current subscribers displays.
  2. If you know the name of the subscriber you want to view, type the name in the Search by Name text box, and then click the search icon.
  3. To view only active or inactive subscribers, click Show Filters and select the check boxes for those records you want to view. The report updates automatically to show you the appropriate records.
  4. To view details about a subscriber, click the subscriber name in the list. The Details page opens, displaying the subscriber name, end point name, code, and an optional description.

To view metrics about the subscriber, click View Subscriber Metrics on the Details page. The Metrics page opens with information about the subscriber's activity.

If you want a subscriber to be notified when an event the subscriber isn't associated with is triggered, you can add the subscriber to the event.

To associate a subscriber with an event:

  2. Click Subscriptions. The page opens showing a list of events already associated with the subscriber.
