User Locale Preferences

Configure the locale preferences for students and applicants.

These preferences are date, time and number formats, as well as time zone. Students and applicants can go to their profile page to see these preferences. Also, the date, time, and number fields in the communications sent to the students and applicants are automatically formatted according to these preferences.

To set up the preferences:

1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.

2. Set the preferences as profile values for these profile options:

   • FND_TIMEZONE

   • FND_TIME_FORMAT

   • FND_DATE_FORMAT

   • FND_NUMBER_FORMAT
