Manage Curriculum Fees

Curriculum fees are fees for courses, scheduled courses, and programs. You can link these fees to items in the curriculum registry as well as apply them to learning packages. Learning packages are programs with flat fees.

A scheduled course is also known as a course section.

To access the page, from the Finances work area click Actions > Manage Curriculum Fee. Besides course fees and scheduled course fees, you can also create program fees.

When creating program fees, take note of these fields:

  • Use Fee Name to associate the fee with a program. Programs with flat fees must be set up appropriately.

  • Select a Transaction Source to indicate the origin of the transaction. You can use these seeded sources: HES Administrative and HES Administrative Curriculum. Or use the transaction sources you created when you set up Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.

  • Allow Discount is enabled only when you allow discounts at the academic business unit level.

  • External Fund Eligibility is reserved for future use.

  • In Academic Period, only reporting academic periods appear on the list.
