Service Impacts

Create service impacts that identify specific services that are restricted or provided. Examples of service impacts can include transcript holds, stopping course enrollment, allowing use of the gym, and so on.

In the Setup and Maintenance work area, use the Manage Service Impacts task:

• Offering: Student Management

• Functional Area: Student Structures

After you create service impacts, associate them with service indicators. When you assign a service indicator to a person and select a reason for the assignment, the associated service impacts are assigned automatically to the person.

Retired Service Impacts

A retired service impact is still active but it won't be available for selection when you create a service indicator.
