Duplicate Subscriptions

Let's say you want to create a subscription that reuses a lot of information from a current subscription. Here's how to duplicate a subscription:

  1. Open the subscription you want to duplicate.

  2. Click Actions > Duplicate Subscription.

  3. On the Duplicate Subscription page, enter the required information.

    You can retain dates, primary and other party information, and product line information from the original subscription

  4. Click OK.

The application creates a new subscription with the information you provided. Unless you choose to update the information, the application retains the information from the source subscription.

Subscription header

The application copies the subscription number, customer name, bill-to account, bill-to site, start and end date, and duration fields to the new subscription.

Team

The creator is added as a team member.

Contacts

The application doesn't copy the contacts that aren't valid for the selected customer.

Lines

The application copies the start and end date of the lines from the subscription header.

Covered assets

The application copies the start and end date of the covered assets from the subscription header.

Additional parties

The application copies all the records to the duplicate subscription.

Renewal controls

The application copies all the records to the duplicate subscription.

Duplicate Products

Duplicate subscription products to create new products in your subscription.

  1. Select the appropriate product.

  2. On the Edit Product page, click Actions > Duplicate Product.

  3. Enter the new number associated with the product and click OK.

The application creates a new subscription product line. Unless you choose to update information, this table demonstrates the fields that are copied from the source line.
