Mass Settle Claims

The Mass Settle Claims process automatically kicks off when you perform a mass settlement of claims.

You can select a maximum of 1000 claims for a single mass settlement.

For mass settle upon submit, claims are put into the Update In Progress status during the background process, and advanced to the Approval Pending status. Most claim analysts might not have the approval privilege. If claim analysts don't have the approval privilege, then the claim moves to the Settlement Pending status. In case of failed validations in mass settlement, failed claims are returned to the Open status in their original state. Valid claims proceed forward in the process.

Note: If claims are discovered in the Update In Progress status for a long time, then the process may have stalled. Rerun the Mass Settle Claims process to reprocess claims that may have stalled in the mass settlement.
