Configure Search

The Product Recall Management application uses the Oracle Search infrastructure to retrieve recall notices in the Recall Notices page.

To configure search for Product Recall Management, you must:

  1. Enable the profile ORA_FND_SEARCH_EXT_ENABLED in the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.

  2. Run the ESS job: "ESS job to create index definition and perform initial ingest to OSCS" with the parameter value: fa-fscm-recall. This creates index definitions and adds data to the Oracle search server.
