Shipping Method Setup for Transfer Orders

The Enforce Shipping Method parameter (set up on the Mange Shipping Parameters page) determines whether the default shipping method is required for a transfer order. You define the default shipping method when defining the transit time.

The Default Shipping Method field shows as either checked or unchecked for a transit time on the Manage Transit Times page.

This table shows how transfer orders process based on the setting of these two parameters:

To set the Enforce Shipping Method parameter:

From the Setup and Maintenance work area, go to the Manage Shipping Parameters task:
