Collect CTO Data

To plan configure-to-order (CTO) products and their options, you collect the shipments history or bookings history. You use the Collect Planning Data page in the Demand Management work area to collect CTO data for your demand plan.

Follow these steps to enable CTO options during the data collection process:

1. In the Demand Management work area, on the Tasks panel tab, under Plan Inputs, click Collect Planning Data.

   The Collect Planning Data page opens.

2. On the Parameters tab, select the source system.

3. In Collection Type, select Targeted or Automatic selection.

4. On the Demand Planning Data subtab, specify the collection time frame options.

5. In History Measures and Attributes, select the relevant shipments history measures and bookings history measures.

   If you select a measure in Shipments History Measures, the Include shipment history for options check box becomes available in the Additional Options section.

   If you select a measure in Bookings History Measures, the Include booking history for options check box becomes available in the Additional Options section.

6. In the Additional Options section, select the following check boxes.

   • Include shipment history for options: If you select this check box, data is collected on the basis of your selection in the Default Shipments History Measure profile option and stored in the Option Shipments History measure. See the section titled "CTO Measures for Collected Shipments History" later in this topic for more information.

   • Include booking history for options: If you select this check box, data is collected on the basis of your selection in the Default Bookings History Measure profile option and stored in the Option Bookings History measure. See the section titled "CTO Measures for Collected Bookings History" later in this topic for more information.

   When you select these check boxes, the collections process reviews the bill of material in Oracle Fusion Cloud Product Lifecycle Management and creates the structures for demand planning.

7. Specify additional options as required on the Reference Data and Supply Planning Data subtabs on the Collect Planning Data page.

CTO Measures for Collected Shipments History

This table correlates your selection in the Default Shipments History Measure profile option (MSC_DFLT_SHIPMENT_HIST_MEASURE) with the measure into which the collected options data for shipments is stored:

CTO Measures for Collected Bookings History

This table correlates your selection in the Default Bookings History Measure profile option (MSC_DFLT_BOOKING_HIST_MEASURE) with the measure into which the collected options data for bookings is stored:
