Edit and Manage Ideas

You can edit the name, description, and status of an idea and add a tag or tags to an idea.

When you create an idea, the Edit Idea page appears with the idea enabled for editing.

Unique numbers are autogenerated for ideas as configured by your administrator. They’re displayed along with other object details such as name and description in the General Information page, the Manage Idea page, and in notifications.

Use the Actions menu to do the following:

• Send: opens a dialog to send notification to other users. You can even add a message in the notification.

• Create Proposal: creates a proposal that contains the content of the idea. The new proposal and idea appear on each other's Relationships table.

• Manage Team: controls access to read and modify the object.

• Delete: opens a dialog to delete the object.
