Post an Idea

Use the Ideas work area to create and manage product ideas. You can add new ideas, associate customers, and add attachments from the Post Idea dialog box.

To post an idea:

1. Navigate to the Ideas work area.

2. To post an idea, in the Manage Ideas page, click the Post Idea button.

   • Enter a name for your idea.

   • In the Description field, enter a brief description of your idea.

   • Select a Type.

   • Click + in the Customers field and associate new customers.

   • Click + in the Attachments field to add attachments.

   • The Mark as Favorite check box is selected by default. If required, you can deselect it.

   • Click Save and Close.

   A unique number is automatically generated for the idea.
