Remove or cancel lines in shipment sets.

Remove Lines from Shipment Sets

  1. If you already clicked Submit, then click Actions > Create Revision. Otherwise, skip this step.

  2. Click Shipment Details > Shipping, click Override Order Line on the line you must remove, then use the dialog to set the Shipment Set attribute to empty.

If you already clicked Submit but don't want to revise the order.

  1. Query for your sales order on the Overview page.

  2. In the search results, click your sales order.

  3. On the Order page, click Actions > Switch to Fulfillment View.

  4. Click Fulfillment Lines.

  5. Select the line you need to remove, then click Actions > Remove from Shipment Set.

Note

  • You can remove the line from the shipment set only if the order line is on the Scheduling task, and if the task status is Manual Scheduling Required.

  • An action that you do on a line in a shipment set while you're in the fulfillment view applies to all lines in the set.

    • Edit

    • Schedule

    • Unschedule

    • Reserve

    • Unreserve

    • Apply Hold

    • Release Hold

    For example, if the set includes line 1, 2 and 3, and if you use the Apply Hold action on line 1, then Order Management applies the same hold action on lines 2 and 3.

Cancel Lines in Shipment Sets

Assume.

  • You have three lines in a shipment set, and each line has a quantity of 10.

  • Order Management ships 4 units of line 1, and 3 units of line 2.

  • Order Management hasn't shipped any units of line 3.

  • Here's the status.

Now you can.

  • Cancel all of line 3 and not take action on any other line.

  • Cancel all of line 3 and cancel all of the backordered quantity on lines 1 and 2.

  • Cancel all of the backordered quantity on lines 1 and 2 and not take any action on line 3.

If you want to cancel backordered or staged quantity, then you must cancel all the backordered or staged quantity in the shipment set. You can't cancel the backordered or staged quantity on only some lines. For example, you can't cancel the backordered quantity of only line 1, or only line 2. You must cancel all of the backordered quantity on lines 1 and 2.
