Notifications for the Inventory Planner

A smooth flow of tasks is established between the buyer in Oracle Fusion Cloud Procurement and the planner in Oracle Fusion Cloud Inventory Management with the help of notifications.

As an inventory planner, you’ll be informed about the replacement tasks and the actions required by you through these notifications:

  1. When the buyer initiates the replacement in Oracle Procurement, you’ll receive an FYI notification that an item replacement is in effect and the original item’s subinventories and locators are disabled for replenishment.
  2. When the buyer completes the replacement task in Oracle Procurement, you’ll receive a notification informing you about the replacement of the original item with the replacement item or supply source. Through this notification, you can find the item replacement task in Oracle Inventory and take further actions to update inventory entities for the replacement item.
