Generate Item Structure Report

You can generate and view the item structure report from both the Product Development and Product Information Management work areas.

  1. Navigate to the Edit Item page of an item.
  2. Click Generate Report from the Actions menu.
  3. In the Item Structure Report dialog, select the fields which must appear in the report.
    • Levels - Single or all levels of the structure
    • Columns - Main, Main and AML, All
    • Templates - Default Item Structure Report. You can also include templates you've configured.

      If you're unable to view the Default Item Structure report template, ensure that you have the following privilege: Generate Item Change Order Report (EGO_GENERATE_ITEM_CHANGE_ORDER_REPORT_PRIV)

    • Format - Format of the file here by default is Microsoft Excel.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Click OK to confirm the message which shows the Scheduled Process Request ID.
  6. Navigate to View Scheduled Processes in the Tasks panel.
  7. Enter the Process Name or Process ID and check the status of the report.
  8. Click the output that appears in the View Output column.
  9. Click the file name or URL in the Attachments dialog and you can view the columns and levels that you selected.
Note:
  • The columns in the item structure report only display the attributes that you have configured in the template.
  • You can generate the report only in Product Development or the Product Information Management work area and not within Oracle Analytics Publisher; configuration of the template is done in Oracle Analytics Publisher.
