View Item Details

Use the tabs on an item for a quick overview about the item. The General Information tab is where you start to access an item’s basic information.

Here are the tabs available on items:

  • General Information - the default or cover page of an item. You can view an item's revision number and the corresponding change order from the Revision list on any item page. The current effective revision is marked with an asterisk (*) character.
  • Attachments - text or graphic files, or URLs, with more information about the item; classify attachments into a category. Includes revision-specific content.
  • Structure - the Bill of Materials for assemblies, products, and other collections of items. Includes revision-specific content.
  • Quality - displays those quality issues or quality actions to which this item has been added. Includes revision-specific content.
  • Changes - lists change orders or change requests that the item is on.
  • Relationships - user-set association between any two business objects or structures. Includes revision-specific content.
  • Team - users and groups who have access to the item.
  • Where Used - displays those item-structures to which this item is added.
  • History – shows data changes made to audit-enabled item attributes.
The Edit Item page displays the attributes of the item as per the privileges you hold. The following is a list of attributes that appear when you login as an analyst.
  • Item: name of the item
  • Description: description of the item
  • Item Class: class you’ve chosen while creating the item
  • Completeness Score: indicates the percentage of completeness for an item and it’s based on the values that are returned for specific attributes
  • Created By: creator of the item
  • Created From: source item name along with the organization name (as a link) from which the item was copied. This is hidden by default, but you can enable it through Page Composer.
  • Lifecycle Phase: current lifecycle phase of the item
  • Item Status: set item status codes. predefined item status codes are Active and Inactive
  • Pack Type: trade item unit descriptors used to describe the Global Trade Item Number (GTIN) hierarchy level
  • Revision: revision of the item
  • Creation Date: date of creation of the item.
