Set Up User Credentials for the Oracle IoT Intelligent Applications Cloud Service

This topic provides the steps for setting up the user credentials for using the Oracle Internet of Things Intelligent Applications Cloud Service in feature-based forecasting for new products.

These user credentials are used for communication between Oracle Demand Management and the IoT Intelligent Applications Cloud Service.

Follow these steps to set up the user credentials for the IoT Intelligent Applications Cloud Service:

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, on the Tasks panel tab, select Manage Setup Content.

    The Manage Setup Content page opens.

  2. Under Topology Definition, click Manage Integration of Additional Applications.

    The Manage Integration of Additional Applications page opens.

  3. Click Create.

    The Create Application Integration page opens.

  4. In Application Name, enter SCP_DM_CROSS_PRODUCT_ENGINE_REST.

  5. In Full URL, enter the URL, including the host name and context root, of the IoT Intelligent Applications Cloud Service.

    The context root should be assetMonitoring (for example, https://<host name>/assetMonitoring).

  6. In Partner Name, enter the user-defined partner name of the IoT Intelligent Applications Cloud Service.

  7. In Security Policy, select oracle/wss_http_token_over_ssl_client_policy.

    The User Name and Password fields are displayed.

  8. In User Name and Password, enter the credentials of an IoT Intelligent Applications Cloud Service user who has the privileges to make REST calls.

  9. Click Save and Close.
