Aggregate Collected Planning Data

Use the Aggregate Collected Planning Data scheduled process to aggregate and store collected measure data for use in demand plans that use planning level profiles.

The Aggregate Collected Planning Data scheduled process calls these child processes:

  • Aggregate Collected Planning Data: Create Snapshot of Aggregated Dimension Data
  • Aggregate Collected Planning Data: Create Snapshot of Aggregated Measure Data
Note: In the Scheduled Processes work area, you can't search for and submit the Aggregate Collected Planning Data: Create Snapshot of Aggregated Dimension Data and Aggregate Collected Planning Data: Create Snapshot of Aggregated Measure Data scheduled processes.

When to Use

If you're using planning level profiles in your demand plans, then you should run this scheduled process after you collect or purge Customer dimension data or measure data at the Customer Site level for Customer dimension hierarchies. You must run the scheduled process before running the demand plans.

If you use a job set for collections, then you can add this scheduled process to the job set.

You can configure the scheduled process to run automatically after collections by using the SCP_PARAMETER_OVERRIDES profile option code. For more information, see the topic titled Automatically Submit Scheduled Processes for Planning Level Profiles.
