Purge Recent Objects

Oracle deprecated the Purge Recent Objects scheduled process in Update 24C.

When to Use

Use the Delete Nontransactional Entities from Closed Sales Orders and Fulfillment Lines scheduled process instead. See Delete Records That Don't Contain Transaction Data.

An earlier release of Oracle Fusion Cloud Order Management displayed a page in the Order Management work area that listed the actions the user had recently performed on sales orders, order lines, and fulfillment lines. You can't use this feature anymore but Oracle Order Management still saves these actions in the DOO_UI_RECENT_OBJECTS database table. Over time, the table might become very large and use up a lot of storage space and affect performance. You can use the Delete Nontransactional Entities from Closed Sales Orders and Fulfillment Lines scheduled process to keep that from happening.
