How You Simulate Changes to Attribute-Based Planning Results

Use the Create Order dialog box in the Supplies and Demands tab to assess alternative planning scenarios.

• Modify the firm date and firm quantity and review the change impact on attribute-specific supplies.

• Modify attribute values and review the change impact.

• Create a manual demand, a planned order, or on-hand supply and review the change impact.

• Compare results of your simulated plan with an existing plan.

You can also update attribute values for supplies and demands in a simulation set in the Plan Inputs work area and associate them to a plan, to explore a simulation.
