Set Up and Use the Functionality for Aggregating Data for Non-Key Customers

This topic provides the steps for setting up and using the functionality for aggregating data for non-key customers and storing data at the Customer Site level for key customers in your demand, demand and supply, and sales and operations plans.

  1. If required, enter data in the file-based data import (FBDI) template named Supply Chain Planning Key Customer Options (ScpKeyCustomerOptionsImportTemplate.xlsm).
Note: If you don't use the import template, by default, all customers are considered as non-key customers, and their data is aggregated to the placeholder <zone name>:All Other or Default:All Other sites. The data is also available at the Customer Site level. For more information, see How You Use the Import Template Named Supply Chain Planning Key Customer Options.
  2. Generate the comma-separated values (.csv extension) files for the import template.
  3. Prepare a compressed file (.zip extension) that contains the .csv files.
  4. Perform a targeted collection.
You must collect or load data at the Customer Site level of the Customer dimension.

If you're using the Collect Planning Data page, follow these steps:

    1. On the File Import and Export page, import the .zip file to the scm/planningDataLoader/Import account.
    2. Run the Load Planning Data from Flat Files scheduled process in the targeted mode to process the imported .zip file.
    3. Perform a targeted collection using the Collect Planning Data page.
If you're using the Load Planning Data from Flat Files scheduled process, follow these steps:
    1. Use the import templates for importing all the data for the predefined and user-defined measures that include the Customer dimension.
Generate the .csv files, and add them to the .zip file that you prepared earlier.
    2. On the File Import and Export page, import the .zip file to the scm/planningDataLoader/Import account.
    3. Perform a targeted collection using the scheduled process.
  5. In the Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Planning work area for your module, create your plan.

On the Demand tab on the Plan Options page, if required, select the Aggregate non-key customer data to an All Other level member checkbox.

Note: Your selection of the checkbox depends on how you want to view the data in the plan tables and graphs. For more information, see How You Use the Import Template Named Supply Chain Planning Key Customer Options.
  6. Run your plan.

In the Run Plan dialog box, on the Parameters tab, select the Refresh with current data option.

  7. After your plan has successfully run, open it, and view the tables and graphs.
You can view data for key customers and non-key customers on the basis of your use of the import template and selection of the checkbox.
