Product Lifecycle Management Navigator

You can use the Product Lifecycle Management Navigator to access your saved searches across Product Lifecycle Management objects and add, pin, and copy items, manufacturers, or workflows to and from your clipboard.

You can also navigate to a specific detail tab from the clipboard. Access the Product Lifecycle Management Navigator from the classic UI by selecting Product Management Experience > Search Products. You can pin the Navigator so that it persists in the left-hand panel. To dismiss the Navigator, unpin and click in the right-hand panel; click the Navigator tab to access it again.

Access Saved Searches

In the Navigator's Saved Searches tab, you can:
  • Easily find and select personal saved searches across objects
  • Run saved searches in the panel on the right-hand side
  • Use the search to search for saved searches by name
  • Use the filters to limit searching by:
    • Object
    • Saved Searches Type
Note: When you use a saved search in the Navigator, the saved search persist the view with the saved search. If you use the Saved Searches icon to select a saved search, the view isn't persisted with the saved search. If the current view doesn't contain attributes for the filters in the saved search, the filters won't be displayed or applied, and can result in a different search results.

Access Clipboard

With the Product Lifecycle Management Navigator Clipboard tab, you can:
  • Add items, manufacturers, or workflows you want to save and access at a later time. You can select the item, manufacturer, or workflow and launch the detail page.
  • Items added to the clipboard will be available in the clipboard in the Product Development and Product Hub work areas.
  • Pin clipboard items so that they appear at the top (beginning) of the clipboard for quicker access.
  • Use the filters to limit searching clipboard items by:
    • Pinned or not pinned objects
    • Object
  • Pinned items are always displayed at the top (beginning) of the clipboard and have their checkboxes selected, followed by objects most recently copied to the clipboard
