Create Measure Filters for Pivot Tables and Graphs
This topic explains how you can create measure filters for your user-defined pivot table or graph in your demand, demand and supply, replenishment, sales and operations, or supply plan.
-
In the Selector Tool for your pivot table or graph, on the Measure Filters tab,
in the Criteria section, click the Add Row icon.
A row appears for the new criterion of the measure filter.
-
In the Measure field, search for and select a
measure.
In the Details section, the displayed dimensions for the measure are those that are selected on the Aggregation and Disaggregation tab in the Create Measure dialog box for the measure and also available on the Hierarchies tab in the Selector Tool. The checkboxes are selected by default for those dimensions for which hierarchies and levels are selected on the Hierarchies tab.
You can deselect a dimension that was selected by default or change the selected hierarchy and level of the dimension.
To enable a dimension for a criterion, select the checkbox, and select a hierarchy and level.
For every criterion on the Measure Filters tab, you must select at least one dimension and its hierarchy and level.
-
In the Condition field, select one of the
following:
- Is equal to
- Is not equal to
- Is greater than
- Is greater than or equal to
- Is less than
- Is less than or equal to
- Is null
If you select this value, the Basis, Value or Measure, and Second Value fields for the measure are grayed out.
- Is between
If you select this condition, in the Basis field, you can select only Value, and the Second Value field is enabled.
-
In the Basis field, select Value
to evaluate the criterion on the basis of a value that you enter.
Select Measure to evaluate the criterion on the basis of another measure that you select.
-
In the Value or Measure field, enter a value, or select
a measure.
If you're entering a value, you can specify an integer or a decimal number.
- If you selected Is between in the Condition field, in the Second Value field, enter the second value.
- In the Decimal Places field, enter the number of decimal places that you want to consider when the criterion is evaluated.
-
In the And or Or field, select
AND if you want multiple criteria to be
fulfilled.
Select OR if you want only one criterion to be fulfilled.Note: If your selected measure in the Measure field for the first criterion has the Time dimension, you can select only AND in the And or Or field.
-
To add more criteria, click the Add Row icon, and follow
the previous steps.
In the Measure field, you can't select a measure that you've already selected in the Measure field for another criterion.
For the remaining criteria, the value of the And or Or field is defaulted to the value for the first criterion and can't be changed.
