How do I perform inventory transactions using LPN?

Use the Inventory Management mobile work area to perform miscellaneous inventory transactions using License Plate Numbers (LPNs).

Here's how:

  1. Click the Miscellaneous Transactions task, and then select the organization that is LPN enabled.
  2. Click the Account Receipt task to create LPN receipt.
  3. Select Receive By as LPN.
Note: LPN option is available only if you have enabled LPN from the Advanced Inventory Parameters.
  4. Scan the LPN Barcode using the printed labels to create the LPN receipt.
  5. Enter the account details, and then click Continue.
  6. Scan the Item Barcode, enter all the required details to create the item receipt, and then click Submit to process the receipt.
  7. Select the Enter multiple lines checkbox to create multiple item receipts in the same LPN.
For example, you can add plain items, serial-controlled and lot-controlled items in the same LPN, and then receive all the items at once to process the receipt.
  8. Navigate to Inventory Management > Stocking Inquiry task to verify the on-hand items in the LPN.
    1. Select the organization, and then click Continue.
    2. Select Find By as LPN, and then click Continue.
    3. Scan the LPN Barcode, and then click the LPN card to view the on-hand details.
  9. Navigate to Miscellaneous Transactions > Account Issue task to issue transactions per LPN.
    1. Select Issue By as LPN, select the Account, and then click Continue.
    2. Scan the LPN Barcode, select the items to be issued, and then click Submit.
    3. Select the Enter multiple lines checkbox to partially issue items in the LPN.
    4. Scan Item Barcode for each item, and then enter subinventory, locator, lot or serial numbers, and LPN details.
    5. Enter partial or full quantity as desired, and then click Add to List.
