Trade Operation Templates

If you need to create similar trade operations multiple times, for example for repeat purchases, you can use trade operation templates. Templates can include key details such as the supplier, charge lines, reference types, routes, currency, and taxes. Both inclusive and exclusive taxes are supported for landed costs.

If you've a determined set of charges that you incur on regular shipments, you can define a trade operation template to automatically create charge lines corresponding to these charges. When you create a trade operation from a template, all the predefined information is automatically copied into the trade operation. You can still review and adjust the copied details as needed.

Use of trade operation template significantly reduces manual data entry and ensures consistency in landed cost processing. This is particularly valuable for organizations with high shipment volumes or standardized procurement patterns, enabling scalable and efficient landed cost processing.
