Generate Cross-Dock and Put Away Suggestions
Use the Generate Cross-Dock and Put Away Suggestions scheduled process to generate cross-dock notifications and put away suggestions.
This process evaluates receipt transactions to generate nudges when cross-dock opportunities exist. Additionally, put away suggestions will be generated to display the optimal inventory location to perform a put away transaction.
You must license Oracle Advanced Inventory Management to use features Redwood: Notify Users of Cross-Docking Opportunities and Redwood: Suggest a Put-Away Location for Goods
When to Use
Notify users when cross-dock opportunities exist by initiating a nudge that reminds users to take specific action. For example, you can receive an email notification to your work email address that contain details such as receipt number, item, and inventory organization.
When a primary put away location isn’t suitable, and you want alternate suggestions to determine primary put away location along with other insights.
Privileges Required
Verify that you have the following privilege:
- Generate Cross-Dock and Put Away Suggestions (RCV_GENERATE_CROSS_DOCK_PUT_AWAT_SUGGESTIONS_PRIV)

Parameters
You need to input Transaction Header ID as a parameter for create inventory transactions job.

Troubleshooting Information
- You can view the status of the process on the Scheduled Processes page.
- Error and warning messages encountered while running the process display in the process log file.
- When the process is submitted, you can Resubmit, Put on Hold, Cancel Process, and Release Process as provided by the Scheduled Processes page.
- Ensure logging isn’t enabled. For example, Application Framework logging shouldn’t be enabled.
