Add a Candidate to a Job Requisition

You add a candidate to a job requisition to create a prospect candidate profile associated with the job requisition. You can add internal candidates to job requisitions posted on internal career sites, and external candidates to job requisitions posted on external career sites.

You can add one candidate to one or many job requisitions. You can also add many candidates to one or more job requisitions. If a few candidates don't get successfully added to the job requisition for any reason, you'll see a message indicating that the candidates were added to the job requisition. There will be no indication why a specific candidate wasn't added.

You can add candidates to a job requisition that isn't posted to a career site if you select the option Allow Candidates to Apply When Not Posted in the job requisition.

You can add a candidate to a job requisition from the Candidate Search page, from within a candidate pool, or from a prospect list or job application list on another job requisition. Let's say you're on the Candidate Search page:

  1. On the Candidate Search page, select one or many candidates.
  2. In the Actions menu, select Add to Requisition.
  3. On the Add to Requisition page, select one or many job requisitions.
  4. Select the option Create job application on behalf of candidate to skip the prospect process and not wait for the candidates to submit their job applications.
  5. Click Save and Close.

Results:

An invitation is sent to the candidates to invite them to apply to the job requisitions. If you selected the option Create job application on behalf of candidate, no invitation is sent.
