Configure Job Segmentation

Use job segmentation configurations to control which internal users and employees can see specific jobs in the list of job requisitions in Opportunity Marketplace.

Using job segmentation you can:
  • Create an eligibility profile to categorize the group of internal employees for whom the visibility of the jobs needs to be restricted.
  • Create job segmentation configurations to filter the jobs for which you need to control the visibility.
  • Assign the eligibility profiles to the created job configurations.
  • Activate and deactivate the configurations as needed.
  • Enable or disable the job segmentation configurations overall for your corporation as needed.

Enable the Profile Options

Before you begin, enable the Job Configurations profile option via the following profile option under Recruiting application in the Manage Administrator Profile Values task.
  • Name: Opportunity Marketplace Job Configurations Enabled
  • Code : ORA_HCM_OPP_MKT_JOB_CONFIG_ENABLED
To create job segmentation configurations you must also have the following privileges:
  • BEN_MANAGE_BENEFIT_ELIGIBLITY_PROFILE_PRIV – This privilege allows users to create new eligibility profiles for opportunity marketplace usage.
  • BEN_REST_SERVICE_ACCESS_BENEFITS_LOVS_PRIV – This privilege allows users to select the Opportunity Marketplace eligibility profiles while creating job configurations.

Create Opportunity Marketplace Eligibility Profiles

Create eligibility profiles to group employees.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance Area, go to:
    • Offering: Recruiting and Candidate Experience
    • Functional Area: Candidate Experience Management
    • Task: Select All Tasks from the Show drop-down list
  2. Select Opportunity Marketplace Eligibility Profiles.
  3. Click Create > Create Participant Profile.
  4. Enter the appropriate information to create the Eligibility Profile Definition and Eligibility Criteria.
    Note: Select Opportunity Marketplace from the Profile Usage drop-down list if it is not already selected.

Create Opportunity Marketplace Jobs Configurations

Create Opportunity Marketplace jobs configurations so that you can link them to eligibility profiles.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance Area, go to:
    • Offering: Recruiting and Candidate Experience
    • Functional Area: Candidate Experience Management
    • Task: Select All Tasks from the Show drop-down list
  2. Scroll down and select Opportunity Marketplace Jobs Configurations. This page lists all the active and draft configurations defined so far. The configurations are listed in the order of priority.
    Note: When a user logs in, the first active configuration that matches their eligibility profile is applied to them. Only the matching requisitions from that job configuration are displayed in the Opportunity Marketplace dashboard.
    You can create new job configurations and select the filters for the job requisitions that fall under that job configurations. You can also map this jobs configuration against a specific eligibility profile of usage opportunity marketplace.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Enter a configuration code.
  5. Type a configuration name.
  6. Select the eligibility profile. Only one Opportunity Marketplace eligibility profile can be mapped against a jobs configuration.
  7. Add the appropriate requisition filters.
  8. Click Save and Close.
