Set Candidate Phone Legislation Code as Required

Phone legislation code is required when users create or update a phone for a candidate.

The phone legislation code is a field in the back-end table that gets autopopulated if the country code is selected in the UI, provided the profile option ORA_IRC_PHONE_LEGISLATION_CODE_ENABLED is enabled.

The profile option ORA_IRC_PHONE_LEGISLATION_CODE_ENABLED is set to Y by default.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, click the Tasks icon.
  2. Click Search.
  3. Search for the task Manage Administrator Profile Values.
  4. Click the task name.
  5. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for the profile option code ORA_IRC_PHONE_LEGISLATION_CODE_ENABLED.
  6. Set the profile value to Y.
  7. Click Save and Close.
