Programs in Oracle Learning

Learning programs identify the base program participants for any planning cycle. You can identify the participants year after year using dynamic criteria. And you can sync the participants every day, on demand, or both, and for a specific period.

You can identify the program participants the same way that you identify learners for learning assignments, access groups, and communities:

Add Option	How You Identify Program Participants
Person	Provide search criteria, such as name, person number, department, or a combination. To reuse this search criteria wherever you select participants, click Save…. In the Name field, replace Search by Name copy with a meaningful name.
Person Number List	Provide a list of person numbers. To upload a file, in the Type field select Type. To use a URL, in the Type field select Text.
Analysis Report Criteria	Specify an existing Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (BI) analysis report that has the criteria to identify the appropriate participants.
Learning Assignment Criteria	Provide applicable values for learning assignment attributes, such as the learning name, type, assignment status, or a combination. Also specify whether participants need to match all the criteria or any of it. To reuse this search criteria wherever you select participants, click Use Current Criteria and complete the applicable fields.
Organization Chart Criteria	Search for and select the appropriate chart, such as Chris’s Directs or Chris’s Org.
Person Criteria	Provide search criteria, such as business unit, legal employer, job family, location, or a combination. To reuse this search criteria wherever you select participants, click Use Current Criteria and complete the applicable fields.

You can create several plans for the same participants, and reuse them over time. And you can reevaluate the participants during the Execution phase, or keep it static.

The learning program makes it easy for your to spot participants who don't take part in any of the program plans. You can view the program participants to using different criteria, such as these:

• Include workers removed from the population.
• Include learners from any plan.
• Show learners based on most core HCM core criteria.
• Show all learners in the program.

You can also adjust the learner population, if necessary.
