Plan and Budget for Future Learning in Oracle Learning

You can use learning programs to plan and budget for future learning needs. These programs let you aggregate learning assignments from different parts of the organization, coordinate future learning assignments, and create and monitor associated metrics.

You use a learning program to identify the base program participants. After you create a program, you configure these areas:
  1. Plan: Where you specify the target budget and target time, and specify general constraints for a specific cycle. Programs need to have at least one plan and can contain an unlimited number of plans.
  2. Plan profile: Where you set up the rules that decide the training for a type of worker. Plans need to have at least one plan profile can contain an unlimited number of profiles.
  3. Plan record: Essentially a preassignment attached to a plan, it's how you connect a learner to learning data. You can link it to enrollment realization for easy comparison.
  4. Hourly rate: Optionally specify the wage cost for a worker attending the learning.

You can also edit the participants you configured when creating the program.

Note: To access the Learning Programs task on the My Client Groups > Learning, you need the learning program and learning plan aggregate roles and functional privileges.
