Reopen Performance Documents Task
HR specialists and managers can reopen performance documents so managers or worker can continue the worker evaluation.
Use the Reopen option in the Actions menu on the Performance Documents page. Managers can also use the Return to Worker option from the My Team work area.
Search Criteria and Results
HR specialists can reopen performance documents for which the manager evaluation task status is Completed, and the document status is Canceled or Completed. Managers can reopen documents for which the manager evaluation status is Completed and the document status is not In Progress, Canceled, or Completed.
HR specialists can search for performance documents and workers they have security access to, but not for themselves or their own performance documents. Managers can search for any performance document they manage.
HR specialists can select and reopen multiple documents at one time. When doing so, they can optionally choose a reason for reopening them.
Impact of Reopening a Performance Document
After you reopen a performance document:

The document is reopened.

If the document was canceled, the document reopens and the manager or worker can continue working on it from the point at which it was canceled.

If the document was completed, the last task is reopened. To move the reopened document to another task, the HR specialist can use the Update option in the Actions menu.

The manager and worker receive notification when the HR specialist reopens a performance document.

The worker receives notification when the manager reopens a performance document.

The completed document is removed from any approvals queues.
In addition:

All the data in the reopened performance document remains and appears as it was when the document was canceled or completed.

When reopening a completed document, the worker profile data reverts to not include the data from the previously-completed document.
