Overview of Notifications
As an administrator, you can configure the application to send notifications to different roles such as the HR specialist, manager, and employee for various performance management tasks.
The application can send notifications in these scenarios, for example:
- Notification to a manager when a worker completes their self-evaluation in a performance document.
- Notification to an employee when the manager creates a new check-in document for them.
- Notification to the feedback provider when you request feedback from them.
When you enable notifications, users get notifications by email or through the Notifications icon on the global header.
Performance Document and Participant Feedback Notifications
You can configure notifications for completing various tasks in performance documents, or for actions such as creating or completing performance documents.
You can also configure notifications for various participant feedback actions, such as requesting or receiving feedback.
Check-In Notifications
You can configure the application to send notifications when different roles create or delete check-ins, discussion topics in check-ins, or notes for discussion topics:
- When an employee makes any of the above changes, it sends notifications to the performance manager.
- When the performance manager makes these changes, it sends notifications to the respective employees.
- When an HR specialist makes these changes, it sends notifications to the performance manager and the employee.
Requested Feedback Notifications
You can configure the application to send notifications to all persons associated with the feedback, such as the feedback requester and feedback provider, in these scenarios:
- You send a feedback request for yourself or others.
- You request the feedback provider to revise their feedback.
- You request feedback on goals and request revisions on such feedback.
- The feedback provider completes their feedback or revises their feedback.
- You delete a feedback request.
