Enable Attachments in the Chat Interface

When candidates search for jobs using their resume, they need to be able to upload their attachments. This can be done using the Attachment icon in the chatbot widget. As an administrator, you can enable this icon using HCM Experience Design Studio. In addition, you can configure other settings such as specifying custom colors and icons, choosing a layout and theme, and other functionality for the chatbot interface.

To enable the Attachment icon, follow these steps:
  1. Enable a sandbox and then edit your pages at the site level.
  2. Go to My Client Groups > Quick Actions > HCM Experience Design Studio.
  3. Click Digital Assistant Configuration from the side menu.
  4. From the Digital Assistant list, select the name of the digital assistant you want to configure.
  5. Specify the server URL of the digital assistant instance.
  6. Specify the Web channel ID of the digital assistant.
  7. Select the Share attachment in chat window check box.
  8. Click Save and Close.

Results:

The Attachment icon appears on the chatbot interface.
