Enable Full Job Requisition Creation by Hiring Managers

You can allow users without the privilege Update Job Requisition (IRC_UPDATE_JOB_REQUISITION), usually hiring managers, to enter all the details of a requisition when they create a job requisition, instead of only a small subset of the information.

When initiating a job requisition, hiring managers go through the same guided process as the recruiters, where all sections and fields are available.

To enable this feature, you need to enable the profile option IRC_REQ_ALLOW_RULE_CONFIG_CUSTOMIZATION_ENABLED at the Site level. Then, hiring managers can create standard job requisition, pipeline job requisitions, and position-based job requisitions.

  1. In the Setup and Maintenance work area, click the Tasks icon.
  2. Click Search.
  3. Search for the task Manage Administrator Profile Values.
  4. Click the task name.
  5. On the Manage Administrator Profile Values page, search for the profile option code IRC_REQ_ALLOW_RULE_CONFIG_CUSTOMIZATION_ENABLED.
  6. Set the profile value at the Site level to Y.
  7. Click Save and Close.
