How You Specify the Number of Participants for a Performance Document

You can specify the total minimum and maximum number of participants that employees and line managers can select to provide feedback for a performance document in the Participation section when configuring a performance template.

You can also specify the minimum and maximum number of participants with other roles such as peer or colleague.

You can enforce these numbers, if you want to. This means employees and managers can’t complete their evaluations until the minimum number of participants provide feedback and can’t exceed the maximum number they request provide feedback from.

If you set the total minimum or maximum number of participants, you also need to select a participant role. When you specify the total maximum number of participants, ensure that you follow these guidelines:

  • The maximum number of participants allowed per role isn’t more than the number in How many participants allowed in total.
  • The minimum number of participants isn’t less than the number in How many participants required in total.
